Institute of Social Sciences includes four programs being Business Management With Thesis/Without Thesis and Psychology With Thesis/Without Thesis. Undoubtedly, Business Management and Psychology are programs requiring a broad vision. It’s a reality that a broad vision is compulsory in order to reach to the future goals. Therefore, we keep our vision broad and give importance to plant this vision in our students. Accordingly, we as Institute of Social Sciences have applied to High Education Board in order to start Public Relations and Advertising, Media Studies and Turkish Language and Literature programs. In addition, necessary efforts are made to start other programs.
Necessary works relating to Erasmus and Socrates exchange and integration programs in departments within our Institute are carried out and necessary contacts will be made as soon as possible. Besides theoretical and applied courses, big importance is attached to informing our students via conferences and seminars of professionals in the sector. Main aim of Institute of Social Sciences Graduate Programs is to raise expert and entrepreneur individuals who have the skill of analytical thinking. We think that our graduate students will make a difference in the companies they are employed due to their theoretical and applied skills based on their professional training in our University. Additionally, it is aimed that our students gain a broader vision in social, cultural and behavioral terms in the fields other than their education field via elective courses that we provide for them.
We believe that we will get even stronger with our qualified academic staff, existing academic programs which meet the needs of our age and country, and new programs which are planned to be started as soon as possible. We, as Institute of Social Sciences, embrace you young people who can take charge in strategic and critical positions in our country’s business, political and social life, under the roof of Istanbul Arel University.
