Banking and Finans Department
The crisses, financial depressions in economy in banking and finance sector in our country necessitates a better recognition of the sector and its being managed and run by qualified staff. The aim of this department giving four-year-education is to present its students the theoretical knowledge and applications in the field of banking and finance and to give the opportunity of learning the changes and developments in the finance sector and thus to educate professional human resources that the sector requires.
In the academic program, intensive English courses are given during four years. Students of the department have to do the compulsory internship especially in banks and in financial institutions and organizations in summer period. Thus our students have the opportunity to reinforce the theoretical education they have taken by participating in the applications in business life.
Our graduates can work in public institutions like Treasury and The Central Bank where the monetary policies are determined and also in banks and other financial institutions. In the event that their English language knowledge is enough, they can have the opportunity to work in the foundations which are on an international level.
